Social Media

Technology Student Association is a national organization for students involved in STEM education. Texas TSA was established in 1958 and is the second largest Career and Technology Student Organization in Texas, with over 50,000 student members. I am responsible for our Instagram and Facebook accounts. Our Executive Director also posts occasionally on the Facebook page.


When I began teaching at Carthage High School, I knew we needed a way to share the projects students were creating in class. This was the birth of CHS-TV on social media. Since 2018, I have been posting projects created by the students in my classes. We work to promote the school, celebrate successes and just have a good time! While most of the work is done by students, I run the management of the pages.


Much like with the creation of the CHS-TV social media pages,
it was important to use social media to communicate with stakeholders about Carthage TSA. We share information that students and parents need for upcoming events, celebrate successes at contest and promote the overall mission of Carthage Technology Student Association.
